Wind Turbines
Every year enough wind energy flows over the roof of a typical house to provide for all its electricity needs twice over. Small wind turbines sited on houses and commercial properties are good for your pocket and the environment. They can sinificantly reduce energy bills and emissions of carbon dioxide.
A realistic annual yield at a good urban site will be about 660kW hours and this equates to a daily average production of 1.8kW hours (or about one fifth of a typical family home's consumption).
Each turbine will also save over a quarter of a tonne of carbon dioxide emissions annually.
